Dark Empire Invasion Guide

Dark Empire Invasion is a guild-wide defense event where waves of the Dark Legion assault your guild’s castles and buildings. You earn points by reinforcing guildmates — the more reinforcements you send, the higher your score and guild rewards. Coordination is critical because two failed defenses eliminate you from the event.

  • Guild must have at least 20 members
  • You must have been in the guild for more than 24 hours
  • At least Castle level 12

Every reinforcement you send earns points, regardless of whether that march actually enters combat. However, if you or anyone you reinforce loses a defense, it counts toward your personal failure tally. Two losses and you’re eliminated — so choose your reinforcement targets carefully.

The Dark Legion attacks in waves from the Mysterious Abyss, alternating between all lords, online lords, and the Defense Post.

The source of the Dark Legion waves. It alternates attacks between:

  • All Lords — every guild member’s castle
  • Online Lords — only castles of members currently online
  • Defense Post — the reinforceable guild building

A special building that the Dark Legion attacks on waves 5, 10, 15, and 20. Guild members can reinforce the Defense Post to score additional points and protect it.

Once per season, your guild’s seasonal building acts as the Defense Post instead.

If you can stay online for the full event, coordinate with guildmates for maximum points:

  • Pair up with an online player of similar castle level and swap Q1 reinforcements
  • Send all other queues to reinforce other online castles
  • Stay online for the entire event duration
  • Be ready to reinforce the Defense Post every 5th wave (waves 5, 10, 15, 20)

If you can’t be online during the event, set up your reinforcements before it starts:

  • Keep your main queue at your own castle for defense
  • Send all other queues to reinforce other offline castles
  • Make sure all queues are in position before the event starts — you won’t be able to adjust once it’s running
  • Reinforce wisely — every failed defense (yours or your target’s) counts toward your two-loss limit
  • Prioritize online targets when you’re online — offline castles are more likely to lose defenses
  • Don’t forget the Defense Post — waves 5, 10, 15, and 20 are key scoring opportunities
  • Communicate in guild chat — call out when you need reinforcements or when you’re available to pair up
  • Set up early if going offline — get all queues positioned before the event timer starts
