Tavern Recruitment
The tavern is where you recruit new heroes. As your recruitment level increases, new heroes become available in a fixed order. You can’t skip ahead — everyone unlocks the same heroes at the same levels.

- Raising recruitment level — you gain recruitment XP every time you summon in the tavern. Higher-tier summons (epic, legendary tokens) give more XP per pull.
- Early game focus — your first few unlocks shape your roster. Secret Keeper and Treeguard are solid early picks that stay useful into mid-game.
- Faction balance — the unlock order alternates between factions, so you’ll naturally build a mixed roster. Check the faction guides to see which heroes are worth investing in as you unlock them.
